Patches that won't

Hi all. I've selectively gathered a few patches from linuxhq, and a few
didn't apply correctly.

1. The menuconfig patch doesn't save the .config file, so 'make zImage'
goes right into 'make config'. 'make xconfig' works fine, and succeededs
in generating the .config after the 'make menuconfig' fails.

2. The 20-2.0.31-2-fix2.patch from linuxhq fails in ksyms.c. Don't
really know why.

Possibly someone could tell me which patches I should be installing, other
than the July 29 Werner and 2.0.31-pre2 patches? Possibly someone that
submits patches often can integrate their patch with the ones that are at
least due to be submitted for 2.0.31?
