Hmm.. This may be a problem.. I'm having all kinds of problems with the
computer right now... So I'd like someone to try this out..

# ls /mnt
dir1/ dir2/ dir3/
# mount /dev/sda3 /mnt -text2
# ls /mnt
[many ext2 errors]
# umount /mnt
# fsck /dev/sda3
[fixes lotsa stuff, no cricical problems]
# mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/dir1
# ls /mnt/dir1
[ no problems ]
