It may be relevant to ask which pre-2 Michael is talking about. DaveM's
pre-2 and Linus's more recent pre-2 are very different things. i.e.

Linus starting over with the pre-patch-2.0.31 name and his own set of
patches is likely to cause all sorts of confusion like the above.
Maybe if we plant some complainers on the Sparc mailing list, DaveM
could be pursuaded to work on the 2.0.3x kernels again :)
