Help!

Is there anybody who can show me my mistake or direction of digging.

My system is: RedHat 4.1 Kernel 2.0.30

I had to patch my kernel:

gunzip -dc fujitsu2513.diff.gz | patch -p1 -d /usr/src/linux

When I had rebooted, my system hang with the following message:

Partition check:

end_request: I/O error, dev 03:03, sector 0

I will be happy to hear any suggestions.

Sincerely,
