Couldn't get a free page???

I've been following all messages regarding the "Couldn't get a free page"
caos. It is quite interesting to me... I've seen lots of messages
from Dr. Werner. He seems to be the guru in charge of coordinating
the fix for this :-)

I wonder if this same problem shows up in the 2.1.x kernels.

Also, what's the first 2.0.x kernel started to show this problem and
how bad it is when it shows up.
