Is this really a leak or just a mm problem where it started with too small
values in /proc/sys/vm/freepages and got stuck in a low memory situation?
What happens if you manually increase the numbers in freepages right after
booting? With 4mb installed, after booting, you probably have very little
RAM to play with.
