I have the file pippo.tar.gz in /windoze that is a vfat ts.

cd /windoze
tar xzf pippo.tar.gz

result a fs error with some warining.

Then pippo.tar.gz is a directory.

I umount /windoze and after another error pippo.tar.gz return a file.

pippo.tar.gz was composed by
pippo/
pippo/......
pippo/xxx/....
