Good point (and I'm already doing so).
What about the following enhancements?
- preserving Message-Id / In-Reply-To / References headers in the digest
(would allow for better sorting/threading based on message id's)
- providing a gzipped version of the digest (would save even more CPU
cycles as well as bandwidth)
