I got some message while my box was runnig shutdown,
which I can not complete interpret:
d_alloc: 6313 unused, pruning dcache
that's all, no oopses, no crashes.
Another thing I have noticed with v2.1.6[01] is, that
printing out anything does not work. Again
there are no error messages or something like that.
"Only" the printer is producing total garbage/rubbish
with ASCII-printing AND "binary" printing (graphics).
This behaviour vanishes, after booting 2.1.59....
I have tried to switch between "with NLS" and "without"
(once used as modules (insmodded and not insmodded) and
even rebuilding the kernel completly with NLS disabled)
-- nothing helps.
Would one please give me a hint, if I have done something
stupid? ;-)
