I couldnt help myself here, but L4 a micro kernel has been used as
a base for L4 linux which not only out benchmarks better then mklinux but
also normal linux (not by any major degree mind you) The kernel only runs
in single user mode and is still very experimental, but is fairly stable
showing that microkernls are not impractical :)
