2.1.62 still needs two patches to work well (for me). The 2.1.61
patch by Bill Hawes to update the dcache syslog messages, and the
2.1.61 sound patch by Anders Hammarquist need to be applied.

I also still get the "Unable to load NLS charset iso8859-1" message in
dmesg, even after applying Ten Thumbs nls patch for 2.1.61.

Though perhaps not kernel related, my sound system has "clicking"
sounds in it when playing the new rvplayer welcome message. It did
this under 2.1.61 also. I have a Toshiba 740CDT notebook with the
CS3242 sound card. Any ideas on how to fix this?
