This mail was originally sent on Oct 24, but I never saw it on the list, so
here we go again.

I am now running 2.0.31-pre10, without any major problems except that INN
dies silently every now and then.

Hi Gurus,

This news server based on RedHat 4.2 crashed when upgraded to 2.0.31

Installed in the system is an Adaptec 2940UW, two Quantum Atlas SCSI
harddisks and a DAT.
Memory: 39144k/40960k available (592k kernel code, 384k reserved, 840k
data)

I was not able to login to the machine after the crash, but SNMP worked
fine and showed a lot of sockets
stuck in CLOSE_WAIT.
