Hi,

I am trying to kissattach KISS device (Manchester modem) to /dev/ttyC3, and kissattach command returns

kissattach: TIOCSETD: Invalid argument

while syslogd gives message from subject. My kernel is vanilla 2.0.31, SMP. On boot, I have

G4KLX/GW4PTS AX.25 for Linux. Version 0.32 for Linux NET3.035 (Linux 2.0)
G8BPQ Encapsulation of AX.25 frames enabled
G4KLX NET/ROM for Linux. Version 0.5 for AX25.032 Linux 2.0
AX25: KISS encapsulation enabled.

so I think my kernel is configured correctly. This KISS thing escapes my understanding :).

Will this work on .31 SMP or I must try with some 2.1.xx kernels?

TIA, dragisha
