At about 2 am I did rm -rf linux-2.1.63 so that I could untar a virgin
copy to patch with 2.1.64.
The patch went in, but when I go to the point of make zlilo, I noticed
the msg
/bin/sh /bin/cat permission denied
and checked /bin
Then I got:
ext2 -fs error (device 03:03):
ext2_find_entry: badentry in directory # 18434: inode out of bounds -
offset=1024,
inode = 3225911792, reclen = 16 name-len=7
I booted a rescue disk and fskd and all came back.
