possible oops in 2.1.6x cause

I may have found the source of my oopsees in 2.1.65
When my hd crashed sometime ago, I reinstalled from a slackware 3.1 cd
The change from bdflush to kdflushd was not yet in Changes, and I forgot
about it.
I spotted it in the 2.0.32 Changes.
I installed updated-1.3 and have had no more oops.
Sorry if my oversite caused you unnecessary worry.
