I've tried something similar for a Cyclades Z board:
post-install cyclades /usr/local/sbin/cyzload -f /usr/local/lib/cyzfirm.bin
Trouble is, cyzload seems to take to long, and so the first access to a
ttyC device if the module is not currently loaded fails. The only
solution I've found is to modprobe cyclades.o (or not compile it as a
module).
