Use 2.0.32. You could be seeing a "teardrop" attack. This is fixed in
2.0.32. Other important bugs are fixed in 2.0.32, including the infamous
pentium "f00f" bug, and some potential filesystem corruption introduced in
2.0.31.

2.0.32 is a pretty damn stable kernel....
