Unfortunately, it's not that consistent. It always happens with my
Unixware server. I've never seen it happen on a file of <= 4096
bytes. I tried compiling the kernel on an NFS filesystem, and a lot of
the .o were truncated to 4k.

The error reported by the apps is I/O error (EIO). As in my previous
message, a couple of the big files from /boot were copied
intact. Everything else seems to be working, I ran a web server off
one of these filesystems without any problems.

Aside from 2.0.x, the only other one was pathway's NFS for DOS.
