Upgrading to lilo 20, I used my floppy dr. to backup mbr. I forgot to
umount and removed the floppy. When update ran it dumped about 100 msgs
in my logs and to the screen. e.g. sread (sector 0x1c) failed, attempt
to access beyond end of device,
02:00: rw=0, want = 14, limit = 4
Directory sread (sector 0x1c failed)
repeated lots of times.
Wouldn't one 'Hey you dumb shit, umount fd' been sufficient?
