nfsroot fails compile in 2.1.7[123]

The nfsroot stuff *still* fails to compile in 2.1.73.

I thought somebody out there said it was fixed already?
Not so.

Also, it would be very good to be able to build a single
kernel that is suitable for both my diskless machine (nfsroot)
*and* my server-box (hda1 root).

I could do this up until 2.1.68. But not since then.
