2.1.75 : problem booting AHA1542

As a result of 2.1.75 changes to linix/drivers/scsi/aha1542.c
I started to get the following message at the boot time

SCSI0 : Adaptec 1542
scsi : 1 host
Vendor IMPRIMIS Madel:94601-15 Rev 4614
Type : Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revison 01 CCS

Detected scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lan 0

aha1542.c: Trying device reset for target 0
HACC aha1542.c : interrupt received, but no mail.
Set BUS RESET to scsi host 0

Last three lines keep being repeated until I press
reset button.
2.1.74 works fine.
