Here is my Sound Config patch updated for 2.1.75:

This patch removes the old sound configuration method and uses the
standard configuration method in drivers/sound. drivers/sound/Config.in
uses a 'string' command to prompt for firmware file names. This patch
also cleans up some #include <linux/config.h> warnings from mkdep on
files in drivers/sound/*, and fixes a display bug for CONFIG_GUS in
'make menuconfig'.
I welcome comments. So far I've gotten 2 success reports.
