Problem confirmed with
2.1.75
INTEL 120Mhz (at 133 ;-) '"Never" had problems before'
PCI-NE2000 clone (PCI-NET/32 Combo card)

Funny things:
1: Strange IRQ/IO address (io at 0x823452678a IRQ 27)
2: reboot (== sync; sync; reboot) to 2.0.33 shows the same!
Must power-cycle to restore the 'correct' values/detection

I would like a 2.1.[7+]? kernel (ix25-isdn stuff!!) though.
