My cd-rom (cdu31a) doesn't work anymore (since 2.1.74),
and the maintainer seems to be dead for a long time now ;)

symptons are:

open("/dev/sonycd", O_RDONLY) = 3
fstat(3, 0xbffff9b0) = -1 EBADF (Bad file descriptor)

and in my logs:

Uniform CD-ROM driver $Revision: 2.1 $
cdrom: failed to open the device.
cdrom: door unlocked.
cdrom: failed to open the device.
cdrom: door unlocked.

same behaviour since at least 2.1.74, 2.1.72 worked fine..
