unaligned trap right after UNZIP kills 2.1.78 on Alpha UDB

I get the following error right after UNZIP for 2.1.78:

Unaligned trap at fffffc00003dedd8: afdf48d8b84069e1 29 3
Then they machine hangs dead solid, worse then 2.1.77 where at leats I got
till the end of rc.sysinit before it hung. And even then, ctrl-scrolllock
worked.

I have no clue how to turn these numbers into anything more meaningful.

The machine is a standard UDB/Multia.
