I've seen old versions of date (probably from slackware 2.2 or earlier)
that have problems with Y2k. Any app that assumes 19?? or only cares
about the last 2 digits of year may do strange things. I can't imagine
the kernel having Y2k problems though...so this topic needs to move to a
more appropriate list.
