Just to be different I always give the 1st outing of a kernel on
my old 386SX 16Mhz, however both 2.1.77 and 2.1.78 fail to find init,
adding init=/sbin/init to the lilo boot line makes no difference. The
machine boots okay with 2.1.65 and the 2.1.78 kernel is perfectly happy
on a 486SX.
The machine used is a 386SX 16Mhz with 8Mb of memory with a genuine
intel chip.
