The last time I mounted my reserved partition (IDE HD)
with some archives on it something very strange must
had been happened:
It seems that the kernel overwrote important parts of
the filesystem. As I wanted to mount it for about 5 minutes
with 2.1.80pre4 mount told me that he couldn't find the
superblock and that I should had started e2fsck. So
I did. E2fsck asked me to confirm some of his operations
(Creating some group id's?) and after he finished the whole
disk was kinda empty. I haven't been able to rescue only one
of the archives... I don't think that is the known way, is it? :))
