Would you consider shipping with 2.0.34 a newer ide-scsi.c,
or include the minimum change that will make it useful with
ATAPI cd-writers witout requiring an external patch?

I am happy with the 2.1.XX kernels (last time I used
my HP7100i was with 2.1.78) but I hate to tell other people
that to use an ATAPI writer they need to patch their kernels
or move to a recent 2.1.XX kernel.
