i've got some problems using serial console with 2.1.8{2,4}.
I have a working setup for 2.1.79 where serial console works like a charm
for me.
But if i use the same setup and the same kernel config for 2.1.8{2,4}
i get the following effects:
2.1.82 shows nothing at all. Only the lilo boot prompt is displayed.
2.1.84 looks like baud setting is incorrect. I see garbage instead
of the kernel messages which are correctly displayed if i use 2.1.79.
any clues ?
