IO-APIC #2, 2.1.84

I used the 2.1.84 kernel with Ingo's APIC enabler patch #2
for a day - it worked quite well (once i got it to boot :-).
However the PS2 mouse behaved a bit unusual. In X it often
jumped on the screen - either /dev/psaux has a minor problem
or this is a side effect (i tried to reproduce it with gpm
but did not succeed).

Is it possible to enable/disable the APIC interrupts for
single devices either during runtime or during boot (please
bear with me - no previous live experience on i386 HW details) ?
I know about the pirq= commandline arg, but how to apply this
to the mouse or other (builtin) devices ? Is this MB specific ?

Michael
