challenge for linux-SMP hackers

A friend of mine has access to a machine which one of you SMP hackers
out there might be interested in toying around with:

It's an NCR 3550 : a 6 CPU P90 machine with 1gb ram. It's unique in that
it's an MCA machine.

It works just fine in UP mode, but if you try to boot an SMP kernel it
gets an NMI and gets rebooted by the hardware watchdog. NT and NCR unix
work fine on this machine. It would be nice to see linux run on this class
of hardware too.

If any hackers want to give a go at this machine, we can set up logins
over the net. Otherwise, this machine will just sit in a warehouse and
rot.
