I have 2.1.84 working perfectly in SMP-mode on a dual PII system.
The processors have stepping 3.
Today I got a new system that is identical apart from the processors
being of stepping 4 (and a minor BIOS upgrade).
Things work but the second processor is reported as having 2.26
BogoMips.
The interactive responce of the system feels jerky but no crashes.
Anyone else seen this?
