I discovered a reliable way to freeze my 2.0.33 SMP box.
When compiling on NFS using make -j or make -j4 the system
simply freezes without any message.
I'm using a 3c905 network card (3c59x.c, v0.49). I don't
think it's related to the driver, since recent revisions are
working well for me since some time now (and a driver
problem used to result in a dead eth0 rather than a freeze).
I know this information is a bit sparse, but i thought this
could provide another data point for someone.
Is there anything related in the 2.0.34-pre-x patch i should
try ?
