It's not "non-Intel" processors, it is "Cyrix PRxxx+ CPU's".

AMD's work fine (I happen to have one) but the Cyrix PRxxx+ chips have a
buggy L1 cache.

Out of memory, or perhaps too many processes using a lot of memory at
once.
