booting from flash card

Hello,

I'm trying to make a bootable flash ram card. The card is a
"SmartM" 16M flash ram with an IDE interface. I have already successfully
installed a Linux filesystem on it, and it seems to work fairly well.
However, I can't for the life of me get it to boot Linux; I have to boot
with a floppy and select roo=/device. If anyone has any advice, I'd be
very appreciative.

thanks,
-bp
