On my RedHat 5.0 box, httpd is causing strange errors. When starting
Apache I got a screenful of messages about "id=1 too large, proc mem
corrupted" (from memory, they didn't log anywhere). Upon shutting down
Apache, I got this:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000021
current->tss.cr3 = 00101000, %cr3 = 00101000
*pde = 00000000

This only happened once, subsequent attempts to start and stop Apache seem
to be proceeding normally, at least for this boot. I haven't tried a fresh
boot yet because the box seems to be running fine, even the web server.
