Any thoughts on why I might get an unknown symbol error for
io_request_lock? I have compiled with the scsi_mod, sd_mod
and ppa for ZipDrive support, and the scsi_mod and ppa both
allow me to modprobe them and both obtain correct values,
but when I attempt to mount the drive, sd_mod is rejected
due to this symbol being unknown.

The symbol appears to be defined in drivers/block/ll_rw_blk.c
as spinlock_t io_request_lock = SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED;

What I don't understand is why it might be missing for
the sd_mod.o and not for the rest of the code.
