Sound in 2.1.88: Configuration and Makefile still broken

If one tries to compile the driver for MAD16 into the kernel
(non-modular), the configuration (IMHO) appears horribly broken: the
kernel does not link until one enables features that one should *not*
enable according to the documentation in Readme.cards. (namely CONFIG_SB
and CONFIG_MSS).

It seems that this is a result of a desparate attempt to get the OPTi931
based cards running without taking care of earlier chips (928,929,930).
This problem didn't exist in 2.0.x.
