About 3 months. Its usable about now, the spec is as good as set in stone.

I was under the impression that if they do SGI sue them for patent violations
actually. The closest PC equivalent I can figure is secondary surfaces on the
few cards that do it usably.

It makes it messier yes, but any bang the metal api will be foul
