A more certain way is to use serial-console facility which
logs oopses reliably (polled serial port drivers, you see)
to the remote host.
Configure character devices
-> Standard/generic serial (dumb) serial support
-> Support for console on serial port
All you need is serial cable at 9600 bps, and some configuring,
plus some program to log from serial port at the other host.
