SPAM

How about we all etch our posts onto zinc plates and print them on rhino
skin. After that we can scan them in using a fax machine and save the image
to the new alien technologies removable media drive. A quick certification
by the dali lama to it's authenticity and place in the universe is all we
will require to confirm it's worth for passing on to the rest via sub-sonic
elephant grunts (the bandwidth isn't huge, but it sure does travel.)

Sorry for the "over the top" sarcasm here (not directed to anyone is
general,) but is seems like the solutions are becoming more of a problem to
deal with than the original SPAM. While is a little bit of a pain to
occasionally press the X on my reader (or hit D in pine,) I find the
exercise quite stimulating. Is it really bad enough to warrent this
discussion? If it gets worse (more than 1 a day,) then fine. Right now the
discussion is more of a burden than the spam itself.
