md raid0 hangs with 2.1.90-3

Under heavy loads, md raid0 hangs on 2.1.90-3 (i.e. Bonnie usually hangs
in the first read test, the write test runs successfully). Other virtual
terminals remain usable. 2.1.90-3 works better for me than any of
2.1.8[5-8]. No good clues as to why the hang just yet.
