Did you upgrade to the latest net-tools? When I moved from 2.0.31
(at that time it was the latest) to 2.1.7X, I had BAD overrun errors
untill I upgraded the net-tools.

I have no idea what the latest version is, but I am using
net-tools-1.421.tar.gz, and it is working great for me now.
