I have an NE2000 driver that is in a state I thought could not be
possible. It seems to be *semi-recognized*.

I have a Kingston KNE20T card, not PCI, that is supposed to be COMPLETELY
ne2000 compatable. The eth0 module can load and claims to find it, and the
ne2k diagnostic program agrees on the IRQ and port values that are
detected. However, no interrupts ever occur on the IRQ, and packets can
neither come in nor out. The ifconfig program says that TX = 0 and RX =0.
Weirdly, if I ping the machine the dropped packets count increases,
although the outside machine never gets a reply.

Have I found a new bug in the driver, or is this a known problem (with a
known solution)?
