this was on 2.1.90. i got them quite a bit. this does have ppp in the
middle however...

ethernet(Midnight)<-ppp<-ethernet<-frame<-smds<-ethernet(james)

i haven't had any since i put pre1 on however.

i'm using tulip.c v0.87P in pre1, i had 0.87O in 90.
