Hello,

I apologize if this topic has been beaten in the past; I have only
recently begun programming with pthreads under Linux. I have read in the
pthreads/LinuxThreads documentation (and have observed the behavior) that
threads currently do not share pid's. The explanation is that the
CLONE_PID flag for clone() is not usable(?).
If indeed it is unusable, is it because it hasn't been finished
yet, or because it's undesirable to add for some reason? If it is a
planned feature, is it expected to be present for 2.2? I kindly thank you
for any information.

cheers,
-bp
