But you still haven't made the necessary changes for the code to be
correct on the i386. A "long" expression, shifted right 32 bits,
has no defined value. The patch you gave introduced a couple such
shifts.
Chip, did you check the patches my message before you replied? It was
already fixed in the patches which I sent out. Sorry I forgot to
include that in my summary of the patches. It slipped my mind.
