Nope. The only other thing I have on IRQ 7 is the printer port. I never use
it as I network print so that shouldn't be a problem. I will disable it in
the BIOS and see if that helps. But as I said before 2.1.91 I NEVER had a
problem whatsoever with sound. In windows I have it on IRQ 5 instead of 7.
On looking at an old IRQ chart I have on ATs the harddrive irq was
remapped/moved to 14 so I guess I will check to see if I have something else
on 5 in Linux and give it a shot as well. I will post my findings shortly.
(I hope this is a 'Dang, man am I stupid' instead of a Linux kernel problem...
we shall see shortly).
