What are the chances on sneaking in the pnp kernel driver?
I will agree to people saying it's not ready for main-line Linux,
my question is how people value its importance for 2.2.

Another thing which I did not follow for a very long time is
scsi-idle. The last time that I looked at it, the kernel part
looked relatively small and harmless (that was a patch against
2.1.62, Some previous versions had a really poor design).
